The design of Juu Ichi unfolds as a contemporary homage to the quiet elegance of Japanese architecture and craftsmanship. Rooted in restraint, every line, texture, and surface tells a story of discipline and harmony.
From the rhythmic layering of raw timber strips to the whisper-soft glow of rice paper panels, the space is a dialogue between natural imperfection and curated intent. A muted palette of concrete finishes—imprinted with subtle timber grains—grounds the space in calm neutrality, while latticework and sliding panels nod to the spatial fluidity of traditional Japanese homes.
The shopfront invites curiosity with its clean geometry and layered transparency, a deliberate interplay between concealment and reveal. Inside, the mood is contemplative, softened by tactile materials and natural light that dances across textured surfaces.
Juu Ichi is not just a space—it is a ritual of form and feeling, crafted with mindful precision to offer guests a serene, almost meditative, experience with every visit.
